The Stay-N-Play Daycare Center is based on the philosophy that children are actively able to learn the skills needed to succeed in school and the ever-changing world that surrounds them. Each child learns at his/her own rate, recognizing that each stage of growth is a stepping-stone to reaching their full potential

Make picture charts of steps involved in the experience of making cookies.
Help children to use charts to follow directions
Provide a variety of art materials to encourage creativity and imagination
Look for cues indicating a new growing interest with a toy or object.
Provide a variety of toys to play and share with outside.
Plan times during the day to read to the children in small groups or individually.
