The Stay-N-Play Daycare Center is based on the philosophy that children are actively able to learn the skills needed to succeed in school and the ever-changing world that surrounds them. Each child learns at his/her own rate, recognizing that each stage of growth is a stepping-stone to reaching their full potential
We understand how difficult peace of mind can be for any parent. We strive to provide a safe learning space where your child can receive quality pre-kindergarten curriculum while having fun.
We follow the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards guide
Model and encourage children to use materials for purposes other than their original intent, such as a banana as a telephone, or a hairbrush as a microphone.
Provide opportunities for children to practice self-help skills during meal times.
Ask children the who, what, and why questions during play, and use these times as a chance to have conversations.
Look for cues indicating a new growing interest with a toy or object.
Provide a variety of toys that they can play and share with outside
Plan times during the day to read to the children in small groups or individually.
